The Reason for God is one of the best books ever written for seekers and for Christians. Keller says in his introduction that "the world is polarizing over religion." He knows how to speak truth into this divide. Although skepticism is growing, Keller believes that "robust, orthodox belief in the traditional faiths is growing as well." Keller is the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. His messages appeal to and inform thousands of young adults weekly. In this book he answers in clear and logical detail many of the questions many struggle with - Why does God allow suffering? How can a loving God send people to Hell? He also addresses the issue of science vs. religion, taking the bible literally, and the problem of sin. The chapter on sin deeply affected me. This is a vital book for all seekers and Christians to read and reread.
